Strangers always think Naomi is a boy. It never really bothered me, especially because her hair is still growing out and most of her clothes are sort of tomboyish. But the other day she was wearing a pink striped shirt and 2 different people at Trader Joe's still commented on what a cute boy I had.
I'm getting tired of the usual exchange, "CUTE! What's his name?"
me, "Naomi"
well meaning stranger, "Oh...ha ha.. you can never tell at this age!"
At least they think she's cute. Still, it's getting old. So today I decided I would make her a bit of girlie frill. The sewing is a bit ratty and messy, but I'm just going tell everyone it's hobo chic.

That is very, very cute. Funny, to me Naomi looks like a girl, but it's always like that once you know. :o)
If I ever have a girl, you have to make me one of those flowers too OK?
omg. you just took her cuteness over the rainbow
I don't think that she looks like a boy! She has very feminine features! People have asked if Ben was a girl or a boy when he was wearing a onesie with a dumptruck on it. The flower makes her look even prettier!
she's such a lovely, sweet girl. xoxo elke
